Gerald Beaulieu


Gérald Beaulieu completed his university degree in forestry at Laval University in 1982.  In September 1982, he is hired to complete a feasibility study for the implantation of a forestry regional center in Eastern Québec.  He led that organization until 1986, when he became the General manager for “Regroupement des Sociétés d’aménagement du Québec”.  From 1992 to 2000, he was the general manager of the forest workers cooperative in Ferland-Boileau.  From 1999 to 2000, he chairs on the board of the Federation of forest cooperatives of Québec.

In 2000, he became project manager for Socodevi in Guatemala leading a regional project of suitainable forest management.  In April 2003, he comes back to Canada as the research manager of the Value-Added Products department with FPInnovations. From 2012 to 2016, he is the head of Business Development for Latin America for GeoTraceability Ltd. Since April 2016, he is the executive director of Cecobois.
